Soul Works Healing

COMBINING THE ART & SCIENCE OF THERAPY

Hi, I’m Logan Brantley, LCSW!

If you often feel tangled in your emotions, put others’ needs before your own, or find yourself achieving without truly feeling fulfilled, you’re not alone. I’m here to walk alongside you, even when navigating the tensions between cultural expectations and your own path. Together, we can gently reconnect you with yourself, nurture your sense of belonging, and build the kind of self-trust that helps everything else fall into place.

I am a psychotherapist, supervisor, educator, expressive arts facilitator and parent-coach in California (LCSW 110813), Washington DC, Virginia, Maryland, Illinois and Texas. I am originally from the east coast and currently reside in San Diego, CA.

The Therapy Breakdown.

Healing isn’t always linear, but below is a brief flow of what you can expect working with me.

01

The Filling In

In our first few sessions we’ll mostly use talk therapy to refine your goals and understand more about . . .

  • how you relate to your lived experiences,

  • the stories that are important to you,

  • your strengths

  • and what’s keeping you from your goals.

02

Setting Foundation

We’ll focus on building

  • Information to help organize and make sense of things (psycho-education)

  • Compassion and curiosity for all parts

  • Choice in values-aligned coping

  • Trust in the process

  • Internal resources & sense of safety

  • Mindfulness in thoughts, feelings, behaviors and sensations (felt sense).

03

The “Big” Work

Really it’s all “big work”.

This is the part where we use expressive arts, parts-work, Brainspotting and/or somatic-oriented therapies to offer new experiences around tough narratives, beliefs, memories, feelings, sensations, etc. that have previously kept you stuck. This “rewiring” process happens at an attuned, empowered and resourced pace.

04

The Harvesting

Finally, the sense-making and life weaving. Some call this “post-traumatic growth” or the phenomena that life can be even better than before ugly things happened.

Here we fine-tune your new neuropathways to help you continue exploring and creating a dynamic life with confidence and self-trust.

My door is always open for new life chapters, but you’re ready to graduate from these goals!
